Our company, founded in 1977, began its business in flexographic printing in Verona, immediately orienting its production towards the food packaging market, using all kinds of paper and plastic films. Our company has been strengthening its position in the high quality flexible packaging market since 2000, thanks to large investments in equipment and control systems, gaining the major Italian and International customers.

SCEA, starting in 2008, has been doing business in our new headquarters in Zevio, just outside Verona.
The plant, with 8,000 square meters of covered area on a 16,000 square meter lot, houses: 2 rotogravure presses; 3 flexographic presses; 2 solvent-less/solvent laminating machines; 5 cutting machines; 6 thermoforming machines for the production of disposable plates and trays, for a total yearly production capacity of 5,000 tons of goods.

In recent years the company has invested heavily in the implementation of quality control systems and procedures: these include, of prime importance, setting up an in-house laboratory for real-time control of the products being made.
Control of raw materials, analysis of residual solvents, control of weld seal and monitoring of the mechanical properties of the material using slippage and tensile tests ensure the suitability of the product to user’s requirements. Color tones and the readability of barcodes are also constantly monitored.
